SEOUL, July 27 (Korea Bizwire) — Korean Air Co. said Wednesday it will introduce KAL’s Lager, a craft beer developed in-house, to passengers in September.
The South Korea’s top air carrier collaborated with Playground Brewery to create the craft beer.
Commencing from Thursday, KAL’s Lager will be available for purchase at Emart 24 convenience stores and through its mobile app.
In celebration of the craft beer’s launch, Korean Air and Emart24 will conduct a SkyPass mileage promotion event that will run until September 30.
This event allows customers to earn additional mileage points.
Customers who spend more than 10,000 won (US$7.86) at Emart24 can accumulate 1 mile for every 2,000 won spent, based on the total payment amount.
Moreover, during the promotion period, customers can accumulate mileage twice the usual amount.
KAL’s Lager will also be served at Korean Air’s lounges in both Incheon and Gimpo International Airports.
