SEOUL, Dec. 31 (Korea Bizwire) — Woowa Brothers Corp., the operator of delivery app Baedal Minjok, completed a test drive of autonomous driving delivery robots at Konkuk University from December 18 to 25.
The robots covered a distance of 1,250 kilometers during the test period, succeeding in delivering a total of 2,219 orders.
Robots operating outdoors are known to face higher technological barriers for a successful commercialization.
Advanced sensors and artificial intelligence technologies are required to complete a delivery, Woowa Brothers explained.
