LAS VEGAS, Jan. 9 (Korea Bizwire)Eureka Park, a dedicated space for startups and emerging entrepreneurs at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, serves as a showcase for creative ideas and innovations, attracting tech-savvy visitors and representatives from global tech companies.

This year, 625 South Korean startups participated, presenting technologies in fields such as artificial intelligence, digital health, pet tech and the Internet of Things (IoT).

One standout innovation was Airmon Inc.’s sterilized kiosk, which captured visitors’ attention Thursday.

A purifier mounted on the top of the kiosk generates sterilized air that removes viruses and bacteria from the touchscreen.

“Kiosk screens often become breeding grounds for germs, which customers could inadvertently ingest after using them to place orders,” said CEO Lee Jong-hoon. “Our technology eliminates nearly 100 percent of these pathogens.”

Lee added that global food companies, including McDonald’s, have shown significant interest in this innovation.

AiLive Inc. also caught the eyes of visitors with its generative AI-powered 3D animation tool, AiLive Studio. This software creates animated 3D characters quickly and effortlessly using text-to-motion AI.

“Many programs generate 3D images, but few offer tools to create moving 3D characters,” said CEO Lee Do-hee. “With our platform, users simply enter text describing motions, and within five seconds, the character is ready.”

AiLive’s technology, which won a CES Innovation Award this year, has attracted attention from major players like Microsoft and Nvidia.

Another impressive entry was AunionAI’s automated dubbing service.

Unlike traditional AI video translation tools, AunionAI’s solution synchronizes actors’ lip movements with translated audio using patented phonetic synchronization technology.

“Our technology ensures near-perfect lip-sync without relying on deepfake methods,” said Kim Hyo-jung, a representative of the company.

In the pet technology sector, Onheal introduced a smart fitness tracker for dogs and cats.

The device monitors pets’ daily activities, such as walking, sleeping and resting, and analyzes the data to detect abnormal conditions.

It also includes real-time location tracking, helping owners locate lost pets through Samsung Electronics’ SmartThings Find platform.
