SEOUL, Dec. 14 (Korea Bizwire) — Son Heung-min, captain of the South Korean men’s national football team, was presented with a limited-edition smartphone by Samsung Electronics Co.
Son, a well-known iPhone user, posted on Instagram photos of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 Maison Margiela Edition that Samsung gave him as a gift.
The photo included a memo assumed to be sent from the tech giant’s marketing team that said, “Dear Son, great job at the World Cup. Thanks to you, it has been a wonderful November and December for all of us. We hope for your quick recovery. We wish for your health and happiness.”
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 Maison Margiela Edition was released as a limited edition on Dec. 1.
Despite its exorbitant price of 2,255,000 won (US$1,740), which is much higher than the price of an ordinary Galaxy Flip 4 (1,474,000 won).
