Samsung to Showcase Nat’l Museum Exhibition via its Frame TVs

SEOUL, Dec. 14 (Korea Bizwire)Samsung Electronics Co. said Thursday it will deliver artworks displayed at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art through its premium The Frame television sets free of charge.

Starting Thursday, Samsung Electronics said users of The Frame TVs will be able to enjoy samples from exhibitions held at the state-run museum under the one-year agreement.

Users will also be able to enjoy 10 pieces of art from “The Arrival of New Women” exhibition a week ahead of the official opening slated for Dec. 21.

“New Women focuses on women as an intersection of these experiences and discourses that construct Korean modernity,” the museum said on its website.

The high-end Frame TVs boast a frame-like design and its key features include “Art Mode,” which displays customized artworks or photos when not in use.

The museum said it hopes that the Samsung TV will fuel interest in the arts.
