NEW YORK, June 3 (Korea Bizwire) – Samsung Electronics unveiled two new fitness wearables – the Gear Fit2 and Gear IconX – at Samsung Marketing Center in New York City on June 2.
The Gear Fit2 is a follow-up to the Gear Fit smartwatch released back in 2014. The new device is equipped with a GPS sensor for an enhanced user experience, offering workout data such as distance travelled and heart rate.
The Gear IconX is a set of wireless Bluetooth earbuds that allow touchless navigation through their song list. The earbuds have 4GB of storage that can hold up to 1,000 songs, and have the capacity to also record workout data.
Both devices have the ability to sync with Samsung’s S Health.
The Samsung Gear Fit 2 will launch in North America and Europe on June 10 at a price of $180, while the Gear IconX will be released in the third quarter of this year for $199.
