SEOUL, July 19 (Korea Bizwire) — Starbucks Korea is set to introduce an exciting new large size, known as the Trenta (887 ml). The term “Trenta” originates from Italian, meaning “30,” and this new size is approximately 1.5 times bigger than Starbucks’ previous largest size, the Venti (591 ml).

The introduction of the Trenta size in Korea is in celebration of Starbucks Korea’s 24th anniversary and is a response to the repeated requests from customers who have experienced this size at Starbucks locations in North America.

Meanwhile, Starbucks is running the “Secret Recipe 7″ project, encouraging customers to vote through the Starbucks app until July 24. This project aims to collaborate with Starbucks partners and customers to launch a new beverage.

The project involves selecting seven beverages, each representing a different region, from the creative drink submissions of Starbucks partners nationwide. These selected beverages will be released as official offerings through customer votes.

The “Secret Recipe 7″ project commenced in May, with Starbucks Partners submitting their recipes. Subsequently, Starbucks stores nationwide picked the initial round of original recipes from partners. Out of these, 21 recipes were selected as final regional nominees, with three representing each of the seven regions, based on evaluations of their stories, creativity, visual appeal, and taste.
