Super Junior Sets a Milestone with 100 World Tour Concerts


SEOUL, Sep. 22 (Korea Bizwire) – South Korean boy band Super Junior stated that they made their best efforts as if they were the Korean national team, regarding their 100th world tour concert that would be the first overwhelming record for Korean artists.

In the afternoon of September 21, Super Junior held a press conference for “Super Junior World Tour Super Show 6” at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. “We’re overwhelmed and so honored that the world tour will hit a total of 100 concerts for its Super Show series. Wherever we go, we will show our best performance, keeping in mind that we are the national team to represent South Korea,” said the boy band.

superjunior“We’ve prepared a lot for this concert. All of us, especially Shin-dong and Eun-hyuk, have broken a sweat to make it successful. Please look forward to it,” added Kang-in.

All of the band members will dress up themselves as Elsa, the show queen in Walt Disney animated film “Frozen” to make the show special.

More specially, Super Junior will set a milestone with 100 world tour concerts as the first Korean music group to reach that record.

With the sixth Super Show series only for this year, since 2008 Super Junior has performed three Asian and two world tours, hitting a total of 97 concerts and a cumulative audience of 1,350,000. It is expected that the boy band will reconfirm its global popularity and fame with various and wonderful performances, showing its unique charms.

The boy band kicked off its Seoul concert for three days from September 19 through 21 and they will continue the tour in Tokyo for two days from October 29 through 30.

      After the Seoul concert, the team will go to Tokyo in Japan for the concert there on October 29 to 30 in continuation of their ‘Super Show 6.’ As far as the Europe concert is concerned, we have no specific information about it. As soon as the related information, we’ll cover it. Thanks!
