TAEBAEK, Aug. 15 (Korea Bizwire) — The northeastern city of Taebaek is abuzz with excitement as it hosts the 47th National Brasswind Competition and Korean Band Festival.
Taking place at the Taebaek Culture Art Hall, the events on Saturday kicked off with a captivating opening ceremony.
The ceremony, highlighted by performances from the military band of the Korea Military Academy and the Kyung Hee University Wind Orchestra, garnered enthusiastic applause from the audience.
Before the start of the festivities, a lively street parade made its way from Taebaek Station, passing through Jungangro Intersection and concluding at Culture Square.
The competition is set to run until Tuesday, featuring a variety of activities and performances.
