DAEJEON, Aug. 28 (Korea Bizwire) — The Daejeon Convention Center will host the 5th Asian Wine Trophy convention until August 30, as 130 jurors from 24 countries will attend to test over 4,000 wines of 32 different nationalities.
The convention held in Daegu is the sister event of the ones held in Portugal and Germany. It is supported by the International Organization of Vine and Wine and has been jointly organized by the Daejeon International Marketing Enterprise and Deutsche Wein Marketing GmbH.
The “winning” wine selected by the jurors will be put into distribution worldwide and each bottle will have a sticker of Daejeon’s representative Hanbit Tower on it.
The wine will also be presented at the upcoming Daejeon International Wine and Spirits Fair that will be held at the Daejeon Trade Exhibition Center from September 1 through 3.

The price for entry to the wine fair will be 10,000 won, and wine tastings will be offered for free once inside. Wine glasses can either be brought or can be purchased inside the fair for 2,000 won each.
