SUNCHEON, Nov. 27 (Korea Bizwire) — More than 2,600 people gathered at Suncheon Bay National Garden on Thursday to make kimchi for the winter.
Participants teamed up to make 37 tons of kimchi from 20,000 cabbages.
The cabbages were purchased by a fund that was prepared by members of various organizations and institutions, including City Hall.
The finished kimchi was delivered to some 7,000 underprivileged people by the South Jeolla Community Welfare Community Chest of Korea.
