SEOUL, Nov. 12 (Korea Bizwire) — BMW Korea said on November 11 that it showcased for the first time in Korea the “BMW Vision Future Luxury,” a concept car, for six days from the 4th to the 9th at its Yeongjong Island BMW Driving Center by inviting 300 VIP clients. The BMW Vision Future Luxury, first made available in the 2014 Beijing Auto Show early this year, the outcome of the German auto maker’s insight into what a high-performance car should be based on experience in luxury car making for a long time.
The concept car embodies the company’s latest technological achievements in auto lightweight engineering, interior design, and whole-new user interface. For example, the laser headlamp mounted on the Vision Future Luxury is based on BMW’s proprietary technology and emits much brighter light at lower power consumption. Its irradiation distance is up to 600 meters, twice longer than the regular LED headlight, while consuming 30 percent less energy than LED lighting devices.
