SEOUL, Jun. 21 (Korea Bizwire)South Korea is launching a major tourism campaign in Paris, just weeks before the French capital hosts the 2024 Summer Olympics, organizers said Friday.

The campaign, titled the “K-Tourism Roadshow,” marks the first large-scale Korean tourism promotion event aimed at French consumers.

The two-day event, starting Saturday (French time), is hosted by South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in partnership with the Korea Tourism Organization.

With its slogan “To Korea, home of K-culture,” the roadshow is specifically targeting Generation Z — those born between 1997 and 2012 — and enthusiasts of Korean pop culture.

This strategic focus comes as South Korea has seen a rise in younger French visitors in recent years.

The event will transform part of Westfield Forum des Halles, one of Paris’ busiest shopping malls, into a Korean tourism showcase.

Visitors can expect K-pop dance classes, K-beauty workshops, Korean language lessons and travel consultation booths.
