SEOUL, May 26 (Korea Bizwire) – The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy has announced the installation of a new cutting-edge device at an upcoming exhibition held at the National Museum of Korea.
This device incorporates organic light-emitting diode (OLED)-based exhibition technology and will be part of a trial.
The device will be placed at the Special Exhibition Gallery, which will host an exhibition titled “Companions on the Eternal Journey: Earthware Figurines and Vessels from Ancient Korea.”
The exhibition is scheduled to run from May 26 to October 9.
Specifically, the device will be installed on the exterior of the exhibition chamber, where pottery and other artifacts are displayed.
Unlike other exhibitions, where artifacts are typically viewed through transparent glass, this new device transforms a portion of the glass into a display.
It will showcase various information about each artifact.
Moreover, the device has the capability to adjust the contrast, thereby highlighting the artifacts positioned behind the glass.
This feature serves as an effective guide for visitors.
