LG Electronics Launches Global Campaign to Promote Party Speakers

SEOUL, Oct. 4 (Korea Bizwire) – LG Electronics is set to launch a vibrant global marketing campaign called “Boom Boom Pow Festa” to promote its LG XBOOM party speakers, the company announced on October 3.

The campaign features collaborations with street musicians from around the world, reimagining the Black Eyed Peas’ hit song “Boom Boom Pow.”

On October 6, LG’s global channels will release a highlight video showcasing performances by street musicians from nine countries, including Brazil, Peru, Mexico, the UK, Spain, India, the Philippines, South Africa, and Turkey.

Each artist will perform at iconic locations in their respective countries, offering a unique cultural twist to the well-known track. 

The company plans to release individual performance videos and behind-the-scenes footage on its YouTube channel in the coming weeks.

Additionally, LG is organizing a dance challenge on TikTok, inviting users to dance to “Boom Boom Pow” played through LG XBOOM speakers.

The campaign videos will showcase various models from the LG XBOOM lineup, including the XL9T, a large wireless speaker featuring dual 8-inch woofers optimized for party music with emphasized bass.

The speaker’s pixel lighting on top can show English text and animated characters, adding to the party vibe. 

For outdoor enthusiasts, the campaign highlights the portable LG XBOOM Go speakers (models XG8T and XG2T).

These devices boast a convenient design for on-the-go use and meet military standards in seven categories, including shock, water resistance, and high-temperature tolerance, making them suitable for pool parties and campfire gatherings.

The global wireless speaker market is poised for significant growth, according to market research firm Future Source.

The market is expected to expand from approximately $14.6 billion in 2023 to $17.3 billion by 2027, with an average annual growth rate of 4.3%. The Latin American market is projected to grow even faster, at over 7% annually during the same period.
