SEOUL, April 3 (Korea Bizwire) — South Korea’s two major tech giants pulled a prank for a bit of fun on April Fools’ Day.
Samsung Electronics Co. on Saturday posted on its website that it had released the Galaxy S23 Bow-Wow Edition, the world’s first smartphone designed exclusively for dogs.
This cream-colored smartphone can diagnose various diseases and the level of stress in a dog by analyzing its body composition with just a single photo.
Nice selfies can be taken if dogs stick out their paws or tongues. Additionally, this smartphone can be unlocked with a single touch of the nose on the inscription scanner.
On the same day, Naver Corp. has released a two-minute video unveiling an ambitious plan to set up the universe’s largest data center on the moon.
The data center, named “Moon,” will be installed on the lunar surface at north 20 degrees and south 20 degrees in an area known as the “Plain of the Green Hat,” the internet portal giant said.
According to Naver, the data center will procure 100 percent of its required energy from solar sources, and the heat generated by the servers will be released into space.
