SACHEON, Jul. 17 (Korea Bizwire) — The first batch of “Slow Postal Service” postcards sent from the site of the Sacheon Ocean Cable Car, a popular tourist destination in Sacheon, South Gyeongsang Province, are on their way to their recipients.
The Sacheon City Facility Management Corporation reported Tuesday that it has sent 400 postcards to recipients, written a year ago as ‘slow postcards’ and mailed at the Sacheon Ocean Cable Car terminal.
By using the service, one can write and send a hand-written message to friends, lovers and family members. After the postcard has been written, recipients will receive the mail after a year.
After the first postcard is sent out, mail will be sent out twice a month.
