BUSAN, Sept. 16 (Korea Bizwire) — The documentary film ‘No Boundaries,’ directed by JIN Jae-woon, has been getting a lot of praise at international film festivals. It’s all about a national park on the Korean Peninsula.
In the film, you’ll see stunning views of the Korean Peninsula National Park, which is celebrating its 55th anniversary this year. They’ve used footage that’s never been seen before, showing the park’s mountains, seas, and people.
The way they’ve put it all together, with a unique style that’s different from regular documentaries, almost feels like reading a poem.
This documentary recently won the Documentary Award at the 5th Brandenburg International Film Festival in Berlin, Germany. It also got recognized at other festivals like the Hong Kong International Film Festival, Dubai International Film Festival, Tagore International Film Festival, Indian Box Office Film Awards, and Green Academy Awards. It won awards for Best Documentary, Best Director, and Best Cinematography.

Plus, it got nominated for more awards at the Mont Blanc International Film Festival in France, the Sedona International Film Festival in the United States, and the International Documentary Film Festival without Borders. So far, it’s been part of 11 festivals in nine countries.
It’s even a finalist in the 2023 AIBs Natural History category, which is a big deal in the world of broadcasting.
The film first aired on TV late last year and earlier this year as a three-part documentary series called ‘Jewel of the Korean Peninsula National Park.’ This was the world’s first-ever 3D TV broadcast. People loved it for the stunning visuals and how it connected the park’s history with different perspectives.

The 3D technology was a collaboration between Busan city, the Korea Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), DM Studio, KNN, and Busan MBC.
You can choose to watch it in either 3D or regular 2D. Since it aired, people have been asking for it to be shown again, and it’s been on TV more than nine times.
Jin Jae-woon, the director, said, “The beautiful scenes of the national park, which you hardly get to see, come to life in three dimensions, making you feel like you’re right there.”
