SEOUL, Feb. 28 (Korea Bizwire) – Hyundai Motor has announced the launch of its ‘Colorful Life’ campaign, a four-day initiative aimed at raising awareness about biodiversity conservation.

The campaign, which is being conducted in partnership with the Korea Green Foundation, will take place from February 26 to 29.

Designed to deepen the understanding of biodiversity among Hyundai employees and encourage conservation efforts in daily life, the campaign features an exhibition space set up at Hyundai’s headquarters in Yangjae-dong, Seocho District, Seoul.

Covering an area of 433 square meters on the first floor of the building, the exhibition allows employees to explore the significance of biodiversity and how they can contribute to its preservation.

The exhibition area, themed around forests, offers a sensory experience with forest scents, bird calls, and the sound of the wind, creating an immersive environment for visitors.

Additionally, exhibits linked to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) explain the characteristics and ecological roles of endangered animals, enhancing the educational aspect of the campaign.

At the end of the exhibition, employees who pledge to participate in biodiversity conservation efforts receive a ‘Biodiversity Action Kit.’ The kit includes eco-friendly items such as lip balm and bamboo toothbrushes, encouraging practical conservation actions.

During the campaign, Hyundai’s employee cafeterias are serving lunches made from vegetables and organic ingredients, further underscoring the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

In a related event, Hyundai hosted a talk concert with actress Park Jin-hee, known for her environmental activism, at 11 a.m. on the campaign’s opening day. Park discussed the importance of biodiversity conservation and shared tips on how to engage in conservation practices effectively.

A Hyundai spokesperson stated, “We plan to expand the campaign to include all our facilities, including factories and research centers, to foster greater interest and participation in biodiversity conservation and other eco-friendly activities among our employees.”
