SEOUL, May 15 (Korea Bizwire) — The 18th Speech in Korean Language Competition started on May 14 at Kyung Hee University.
The 16 finalists from 13 countries, who were selected from 1,241 competitors, will give speeches about various themes such as Korea’s 24-hour delivery culture, Dokdo and traditional Korean folk music.
The competition is a special occasion where Koreans or non-Koreans are able to share their experiences through different, yet enriching views of foreigners with varying backgrounds, including students, multicultural center lecturers and TV broadcasters.
One of the finalists has even come from Japan to participate in the competition. Daniel Lindemann, a cast member from the Non-Summit TV show, and the 12th competition winner, will be one of the three judges.
