SEOUL, July 13 (Korea Bizwire) — Samsung Electronics Co. said Tuesday it had launched Samsung Space Tycoon, an experience-type virtual space, on the metaverse platform Roblox.
Samsung Space Tycoon is a cyberspace using a management simulation game (tycoon) format, allowing users to produce and enjoy Samsung products and items in the universe.
Under the background of the Samsung Space Research Lab where aliens research new products, users can explore resources, convert Samsung products ranging from smartphones to home appliances to various designs and purchase or upgrade game items.
Users can get creative by starting with real-life products and giving them a makeover to become in-game gadgets.
For instance, the foldable smartphone Galaxy Z Flip can turn into a bag or a scooter, the robot cleaner Jet Bot into a hoverboard, and the vertical TV The Sero into a single-person helicopter.
