SEOUL, Jan. 12 (Korea Bizwire) — The Seoul Metropolitan Government said Wednesday it will deploy drones to insepct the roofs of Korean traditional houses known as “hanok”.
Previously, people had to climb onto roofs to check and take photographs.
Now, the drones will be in charge of photographing the roofs from all angles.
The check-ups are essential to prevent water leaks, not just from inside the house but also from the outside.
The photographs taken by drones from various angles will assist residents in locating the sources of problems and finding ways to repair them.
