SEOUL, May 30 (Korea Bizwire) – 5Rocks (CEO Changsu Lee) announced on May 30 that it has entered into a partnership agreement with HasOffers’ MobileAppTracking (CEO Peter Hamilton), North America’s leading mobile attribution analytics product.
5Rocks’ mobile game analytics and operation service has been fully integrated with MobileAppTracking’s (MAT) mobile attribution analytics, such that MAT clients now have immediate access to the user analytics function that 5Rocks offers, no additional set-up necessary. Combining these capabilities allows marketers to better segment users, create more targeted campaigns, and optimize the long term value (LTV) of each user.
Clients will be able to not only measure performance per advertising channel, but also segment each channel’s users by the desired criteria to analyze app usage patterns. For instance, if there are differences in the main item purchase patterns or gameplay behavior between the users that came in through ad channel “A” and those that came in through ad channel “B,” a developer may create and execute marketing campaign optimized for each channel.
MobileAppTracking provides unbiased attribution analytics for performance advertising. MAT tracks the reference channels of ad platforms and networks for app marketing and analyzes their performance. MAT enables clients to see the performance of mobile ads in progress through diverse media and assists them in devising and executing the ad strategies that will deliver optimal results. Has Offers operates in over 40 countries worldwide and MAT is the leading mobile attribution analytics technology with the top gaming advertisers.
“HasOffers offers clients even better services through partnerships with the best mobile ad networks and analytic technology companies globally,” 5Rocks CEO Changsu Lee said, “I believe that this partnership is an excellent opportunity for 5Rocks to be introduced to many mobile game developers in the North American region and stand shoulder to shoulder with our global competitors.”
Through this partnership, 5Rocks is preparing to enter the North American market. 5Rocks set out to capture the Japanese market in September of last year with the opening of a branch office in Tokyo. The company currently has about 250 clients in South Korea and 80 in Japan, with a total of about 450 clients worldwide. The number of 5Rocks’clients in the Southeast Asian market, including in Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia, are also increasing.
HasOffers has recently established a branch office in Seoul (Asia Pacific Director Brian Kim), marking its expansion into the Asia Pacific region.
5Rocks provides a mobile game analytics service “5Rocks.” Its main service feature is segment-specific user behavior analytics that provides detailed analysis of users appropriate to the characteristics of different types of games; and enables the simultaneous operation and marketing of a game based on those results. Recognized for its technical excellence, 5Rocks received 2.55 billion KRW (2.3 million USD) from Japanese venture capital firm, Global Brain, in August 2013 and launched in the Japanese market. The company currently has about 400 clients around the world, including in South Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, and is planning to enter the U.S. market in 2014. 5Rocks, which was founded in September 2010, raised 2 billion KRW (1.8 million USD) in a Series A round from Stonebridge Capital in May 2011.
