SEOUL, Nov. 26 (Korea Bizwire) – Korean Air announced on Tuesday that it will provide its seasonal “Coatroom Service,” offering free winter coat storage for passengers traveling to warmer destinations, from December 1, 2024, to February 28, 2025.
First introduced in 2005, the service allows international passengers departing from Incheon International Airport’s Terminal 2 to store one coat per person free of charge for up to five days, including the drop-off day. Beyond that, a daily fee of ₩2,500 applies, with an option to pay using 350 Korean Air SkyPass miles per day.
The service location will vary this year due to the completion of Terminal 2’s expansion. Until construction wraps up in early December, passengers can check in their coats at the Hanjin Express counter near the K check-in area on the third floor after presenting their boarding pass. Once the new terminal facilities are operational, the service will move to the A counter area.
First-class, Prestige-class, and SkyTeam Elite Plus members can use designated counters (C36 before the expansion, A32 afterward) for added convenience.
Korean Air’s Coatroom Service continues to offer a hassle-free solution for passengers escaping the winter chill, enhancing the travel experience for those heading to warmer destinations.
