SEOUL, Oct. 25 (Korea Bizwire) – The Second Woodwork Hanmadang was held at Seoul Plaza on Tuesday, offering opportunities for visitors to experience wooden materials.
The event included the display and sale of wooden products, a carpentry experience booth, and exhibits by somokjang, skilled professionals who make traditional furniture, household utensils, and other wooden objects.
“We hope the event provides an opportunity for citizens to become more familiar with wood, which is a sustainable environmental material,” said an official. “The city will continue to promote the use of wood, while making efforts to vitalize the city’s carpentry culture.”
