SEOUL, Aug. 26 (Korea Bizwire) – Chinese e-commerce platform AliExpress announced on August 26 that it has implemented protective measures for more than 8,500 Korean brands from December of last year to July of this year, primarily through blocking counterfeit products.
AliExpress has intensified efforts to protect and manage intellectual property rights to safeguard the interests of Korean brand owners and consumers. The company has been conducting self-monitoring activities to swiftly block counterfeit items and take measures such as closing stores that violate policies.
For the period of January to July this year, the average processing time for counterfeit product refunds was 4.2 days, which is more than two days faster compared to the same period last year. This improvement in refund processing demonstrates the platform’s commitment to enhancing customer service and trust.
Ray Zhang, Head of AliExpress Korea, stated, “Our continuous efforts to protect intellectual property rights demonstrate AliExpress’s commitment to providing the best service to our valued customers.”
