Asiana Uses AI for Cabin Crew English Conversation Training

SEOUL, Jul. 30 (Korea Bizwire)Asiana Airlines Inc. said Monday it has introduced a pilot “AI tutor” program using artificial intelligence technology in its English conversation training for cabin crew members.

The ‘AI tutor’ is a program that allows people to practice conversational English according to travel and business situations through voice recognition and language intelligence technologies.

The program can be used by installing an app on a smartphone or tablet PC.

The AI will conduct customized learning by introducing an appropriate level of difficulty while determining the level of English conversation among students.

“We expect that the AI tutor program will provide English conversation training based on various situations that are tailored to the working environment of the cabin crew so that the level of customer service can be raised,” said an Asiana official.
