SEOUL, July 21 (Korea Bizwire) – A mobile application that allows users to look for job openings for chefs and other restaurant workers has become available. FindAll, the service provider of job information on newspapers, the Internet, and mobile devices, said on July 18 that it launched a new app exclusively for those interested in restaurant jobs. According to FindAll, help wanted ads account for almost 30 percent of all its classified ads and figured it would be better to make the information available in a separate app.

The new Food/Restaurant app has different menus for different job categories such as Korean, Chinese/Japanese, meat specialty restaurant, corporate/school cafeteria, liquor-serving restaurant, fried chicken/pizza/fast food, buffet/banquet, food court, and specialty coffee shop.

The user can narrow the search by entering an area in which she wants to work. The search can be further narrowed down by selecting other search fields such as pay scale, age, and gender. The app sends alerts whenever a new job listing satisfying the user’s search criteria comes up.

Lee Dong-joo, head of FindAll’s job search division, said, “We are glad to introduce restaurant job information as a separate app. I hope this can make restaurant job searchers’ life easier.” FindAll’s Food/Restaurant app is available free of charge on Google Play Store or the website’s mobile homepage at http://job.findall.co.kr/mobile/Main.asp.
