INCHEON, South Korea, Oct 14 (Korea Bizwire) — An event will be open to give visitors to it a chance to sample foods from all around the world. The Incheon Metropolitan City Government, in partnership with the Korea Food Service Industry Association, will hold the “2013 Incheon World Food Culture Exposition” for three days between October 18 and 20 at the east gate plaza of Incheon Munhak Stadium during the 94th Korean National Sports Festival.
In the evening of the first day, a concert is scheduled to be held to celebrate the event’s opening, with a score of singers for audiences of all ages. It will be followed in the next day by an event to make a 10-meter cake and to make Kimchi. The visitors can also try different ethnic foods while browsing through pavilions in which they view the food-making process. They can also watch cultural performances put on by troupes from overseas.
An Incheon city government official said, “The exhibition will be a great outing experience for our city residents and National Sports Festival visitors who will find a variety of food items and things to see at the venue. We believe the World Food Culture Exposition will make the annual sports event more festive while contributing to the development of Korea’s food service industry.”
