SEOUL, May 20 (Korea Bizwire) — The Inje County Office in Gangwon Province will operate a task force from May 20 to the end of October to seize harmful wild animals. The team is comprised of 20 members of the Wildlife Management Association, and will be dispatched to the scene where wild animals are damaging agricultural goods.
Boar, elk, pheasant, magpies and Eurasian red squirrels are on the harmful wild animal list. A similar task force was also operated last year in the county. The county office will also install electrical fences at 40 spots near farms.
