JEUNGPYEONG, Aug. 13 (Korea Bizwire) — Located in Jeungpyeong County, North Chungcheong Province, a “paste-ripening village” has become popular among foreign tourists who want to experience South Korea’s traditional culture.
According to Jeungpyeong county, the village has seen a large increase in foreign tourists since last year after foreigners who visited the area started to publicize it through SNS.
The village will run four seasonal programs that allow visitors to experience Korea’s traditional culture, such as grinding beans to make tofu, making folk painting fans and wearing hanbok, a traditional Korean garment.
It is perfect for foreign tourists to experience and enjoy South Korea’s unique culture.
