SEOUL, Oct. 27 (Korea Bizwire) – Kmall24, an online store managed by the Korean International Trade Association (KITA) that supports direct overseas purchases online, has started aggressively targeting consumers abroad through Amazon Japan and eBay.
According to the KITA, Kmall24 is the first organization that supports exports on Amazon Japan. The company registered 201 items such as fashion accessories, mobile accessories, baby products and other household items, and is currently selling them.
As Kmall24 has entered Amazon Japan, it is anticipated that it will let quality Korean products to be known to Japanese consumers, and will boost exports to Japan.
Since Amazon Japan holds the second largest share of the market in Japan, and its main users are individuals in their 20s and 30s, Kmall24 plans to boost sales through the platform.
Kmall24 also registered its products on eBay, and started selling products to consumers all over the world. The company is selling 717 products from hallyu items to beauty products and food. As soon as it set up shop, orders from 20 countries around the world including Poland, the Czech Republic, Malaysia and Nicaragua poured in.
Kmall24 also finished restructuring based on ‘Magento’, an online solution that holds the largest number of users all over the world. Also, to provide a better service to customers overseas, the company moved its servers abroad and started SMS services for those who make purchases.
