SEOUL, May 14 (Korea Bizwire) The Jeonbuk Fishery Research Center will stock three reservoirs with 180,000 King crab younglings in a bid to farm adult king crabs, which are popular among Koreans as a favorite side dish. King crab delicacies are often called ‘rice thief,’ as they are so delicious that you can empty a bowl of rice in a matter of seconds with King crab side dishes.

The research center will release the younglings on May 15 in the Okgu Reservoir, Neungje Reservoir and Yongdam Lake. The younglings are mostly as small as finger nails, and have been hatched in seawater.
