SEOUL, Nov. 15 (Korea Bizwire)Maybe you have wondered whether you can read your favorite book anywhere anytime. Now you can, with a new book scan app called “Pantascan.”

At the affordable cost of 15,000 won (US$13.63), the app can turn a full-length book into a PDF file in 30 minutes without ripping the book off. In this age of electronic communication, the number of books available in digital format is limited and any print book you have is useless when you want to read it on your smartphone or tablet.

Pantascan is now available in the iOS version following the release of an Android version a few months ago. Scanning is not such a hassle either. All you need is turning the pages in accordance with the timer by putting the book on the goosenecked cradle.

The scanned PDF file can be read on any device including iPhone 6 Plus, iPad, iPad Mini, Retina, Nexus 7, Crema, and Kindle.

The app is currently available for download on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. If you have purchased the Pantascan app and the Gooseneck as a set, you are set to go by entering the authentication code that comes with the set.
