SEOUL, March 30 (Korea Bizwire) — The Cultural Heritage Administration is opening an online exhibition hall where visitors can gain access to real-like content about tangible and intangible cultural assets as well as natural assets.
The administration is joining hands with the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation to open up the exhibition hall on Thursday, created with VR, AR and multiview video technology.
The exhibition showcases various tangible cultural assets including documents about the Korean War, Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon and prehistoric dolmens.
Intangible assets include the oldest Korean martial arts “taekgyeon” and the Korean traditional musical of “pansori.”
Natural monuments like Mount Seorak, Eulsuk Island and the Joseon Dynasty royal tombs are also featured.
