SEOUL, Nov. 2 (Korea Bizwire) - Hyundai Motor and the Seoul Metropolitan Government have opened a new car-themed playground at Seoul Grand Park.
The car manufacturer opened the children’s theme park, called ‘Cha-car Cha-car playground’, at Seoul Grand Park on October 29.
The playground is part of a donation made by Hyundai Motor as the company celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Sonata.
‘Cha-car Cha-car’ is a compound word, putting together the English word ‘car’ and the Korean word for car, which is pronounced ‘Cha’.
Hyundai anticipates that the new car-themed playground will function as a space for education and family recreation for children.
Various spaces for children have been established, such as the ‘Mini Sonata Track’ that even blind children can enjoy, a large scaled Sonata model, and the ‘Animal Story Walk’ that tells stories about extinct animals.
The cars at the playground have an ‘auto reset’ button which aligns the car with the middle of the track.
The playground will be open from March to November every year.
Further information can be obtained at the Hyundai Motor ‘Kids Hyundai’ site (kids.hyundai.com).
