SEOUL, Feb. 7 (Korea Bizwire) — An Italian weekly fashion magazine has published an article that praised Korean food.
According to the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange, Donna Moderna’s newest edition published an article titled “The Strengths of Korean Food,” which described Korean food as “a delicious, spicy cuisine that is very attractive and healthy.”
The magazine also said that Korean food has been ranked as one of the top 10 cooking trends in Italy for the year 2022 and that a new trend is sweeping across the country where people would go to Korean restaurants on weekends.
The magazine said fermented Kimchi makes Korean food even more special, adding that “eating a plate of kimchi once or twice per week helps with digestion.”
Kimchi stimulates the immune system and the balance of sleep, helping with skincare, the magazine said.
The magazine also noted that traditional Korean snacks containing low-calorie red beans are a healthy alternative to high-calorie cakes and gelato.
