GORYEONG, South Korea, Nov. 18 (Korea Bizwire) – The second round of the 2016 – 2017 Korea Hot Air Balloon Championship kicked off in Goryeong County for three days of competition. Hosted by the Korea Balloon Association, the championship consists of six total rounds, with the final round expected to take place in Buyeo County in April 2017.
Ten local pilots with at least 30 hours of flight experience are competing in the contest, which will serve as an important stepping stone for them towards building an international career.
