SEOUL, Dec. 13 (Korea Bizwire) — A giant Korean traditional wall painting is attracting attention in a Brazilian Korea town, located in Sao Paulo’s Bom Retiro area.
The South Korean Embassy in Brazil and the Korean Cultural Center set up Korean traditional paintings on the outer wall of major buildings in the area on Friday to promote Korean beauty.
The exhibition, designed to promote cooperation and exchange between South Korea and Brazil as well as the neighborhoods local economy, will continue for at least 12 months.
Some of artworks’ illustrators are Woo Na-young, a renowned artist with prior experience with Walt Disney Co. and Jeon Ok-hee, a Korean artist living in Brazil who is is famous for her paintings of Brazilian women and children in rural areas.
