SEOUL, April 6 (Korea Bizwire) —  LG Electronics has installed a suite of ultra-large commercial display solutions at Fenway Park, the iconic home stadium of Major League Baseball’s Boston Red Sox, as part of its expanding footprint in the U.S. sports entertainment market.

The South Korean tech giant announced Sunday that it completed the installation at the end of March, including a centerpiece LED scoreboard measuring 30.5 meters wide by 11.5 meters tall. In total, 11 high-definition digital signboards—covering approximately 842 square meters—were installed across the venue, including a massive ribbon board spanning over 21 meters.

The displays, tailored for outdoor sports environments, feature high dynamic range (HDR) technology, peak brightness levels exceeding 700 nits, and IP65-rated water and dust resistance, ensuring optimal visibility and durability in all conditions. They debuted during the Red Sox’s 2025 season home opener on April 4, delivering vivid in-game visuals to fans across the stadium.

LG partnered with ANC, the agency managing venue operations and advertising for Fenway Sports Group, to bring the upgrade to life. Through this strategic collaboration, LG aims to deliver next-generation fan experiences not just in Boston but at sporting venues across the United States.

“The cutting-edge technology provided by LG is revolutionizing the stadium experience,” said Troop Parkinson, Chief Marketing Officer for the Boston Red Sox. “We’re excited to launch season-long promotions that Red Sox Nation can enjoy.”

The initiative reflects LG’s broader strategy to unify its display businesses—including TVs, monitors, and signage—under its MS (Media Solutions) division and to expand into media-driven entertainment platforms for global sports audiences.

Earlier this year, LG installed a 141-square-meter display at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta and supplied indoor and outdoor LED signage to Atomic Golf, a major entertainment venue in Las Vegas.

“With our innovative commercial displays and customized solutions, we’re strengthening partnerships with world-class sports organizations,” said Park Hyung-se, head of LG’s MS Business Division. “Our goal is to elevate customer spaces and deliver unmatched media entertainment experiences.”
