SEOUL, Jan.26 (Korea Bizwire) – Naver announced that it will launch a ‘Local Food Campaign’ in collaboration with six local governments. Local produce grown in Gangwon, Chungnam, Gyeonggi, Sunchang, Jeju, and Jeonnam Province will be introduced through the campaign.
The campaign was designed to provide information about ingredients and recipes making use of fresh produce sourced from farms across the country.
Agricultural producers all over Korea can use the service as an online marketing means to expand their markets.
The campaign will run for a period of four months. Recipes or tips to prepare ingredients can be viewed under the ‘Local Food’ section of ‘Living Food’ at the mobile home of Naver.
Ingredients mentioned in recipes can be purchased directly through the ‘Food Window’ service, an O2O service offered by Naver Shopping.
Promotional videos related to the campaign will be aired on the KBS program ‘A Meal of Nature’ produced by Lee Wook-jeong, a television producer famous for his studies of food from various cultures. The clips will also be available on Naver TV Cast.
