SEOUL, May 2 (Korea Bizwire)Part-time employees are sharing their concerns online after the government lifted the outdoor mask mandate on Monday.

“We still need to ask customers to wear a mask indoors, right?” one of the part-time job workers said. “A lot of people come to the place I work at. My mouth will blister for asking the same thing over and over.”

“It’s already too much to deal with customers asking for disposable cups indoors. Now, I have to deal with no-maskers too?” another part-time job worker said.

Many of them expressed frustration and disappointment, concerned about various no-mask situations indoors.

In November last year, a part-time employee at a convenience store was slapped in the face by a customer after asking them to wear a protective mask. CCTV footage was soon revealed, causing public outrage.

In March, a bus driver was assaulted by a passenger after asking them to wear a protective mask.
