Seoul, July 23 (Korea Bizwire) – A theme park where Hallyu tourists can enjoy K-pop at a hologram concert hall will be established on Jeju Island.
The Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning announced that they would be opening a digital theme park called ‘Play K-pop’ with NIK, a company that invests in content and provides distribution services.
The theme park will consist of a hologram venue where performances from G-dragon and Big-Bang can be enjoyed on a digital platform, a ‘Live 360 3D’ exhibit where a comic character of PSY can be seen, and a music museum chronicling the history of Korean pop music.
Also planned is an ‘I’m also a star’ zone, an area where visitors can dress as K-pop stars and record themselves singing and dancing.
