SEOUL, Sept. 14 (Korea Bizwire) — As the coronavirus continues to rage on, mobile carriers are scrambling to launch so-called ‘untact’ O4O (online-for-offline) platforms.
In July, South Korea’s top mobile carrier SK Telecom Co. launched ‘T-world Friends’, a web page dedicated to logistics network management for affiliated stores struggling with a recent plunge in revenue.
Each store can upload and manage their own customized content and data on the online platform.
If an online customer adds one of the stores as a T-world Friend, they become one of the store’s ‘regular customers’, receiving a variety of new information on new products and promotion events.
Less than a month since the official launch, T-world Friends is being used by 97 percent of 3,000 stores, attracting nearly 100,000 online customers.
