JEONGSEON, May 3 (Korea Bizwire) — Bugs Land in Jeongseon County, Gangwon Province, a new concept amusement facility equipped with a virtual reality (VR) technology, is gaining popularity.
Bugs Land is a monorail amusement facility offering rides on a sky bike to experience the world of insects. The monorail is 7 meters high and 540 meters long and has 10 ladybug-shaped capsules.
Two passengers can board a single capsule at once, and they all have a high-resolution VR system.
Passengers can ride sky bikes along the monorail and experience the mysterious and fun world of insects through the VR system.
Bugs Land opened in September last year after a 2.5 billion won (US$2.14 million) investment by Jeongseon County. Since its opening, 6,500 customers had visited the site as of the end of November last year.
