SEOUL, May 31 (Korea Bizwire)With coronavirus vaccinations restarting in South Korea, netizens are looking up articles and posts by vaccine recipients to better understand the vaccines and for reassurance.

These online articles by vaccine recipients talk about the type of vaccine, physical status such as age and health conditions, post-inoculation symptoms, and the level of pain during the inoculation.

A 38-year old caretaker living in the city of Jeonju recently shared his experiences receiving the vaccine online, to reassure people who are still afraid of the side effects or pain caused by the vaccine.

“I didn’t experience any fever, but I had to get digestive medicine because I felt sick for a couple of days,” he said. “In the evening after I got vaccinated, I took a single tylenol.”

A 40-year old resident in Hanam, south of Seoul, also shared his vaccination experience on a local online forum, where he received more than 10 comments in three hours.

Some sources suggest caution, however, since these posts can be subjective and might contain false or inaccurate medical information.
