PYEONGCHANG, South Korea, Nov. 22 (Korea Bizwire) – November 22 in Korea is called “Soseol,” one of the 24 seasonal points on the traditional East Asian lunisolar calendar, when the first snow falls in the country.
Soseol translates into “small snowfall” and comes after “Ipdong” (November 7), which marks the beginning of the winter season, and before “Daeseol” (December 7), the time of large snowfalls.
The photos are from Balwang Mountain in Pyeongchang, some 180 kilometers east of Seoul.
