INCHEON, Sept. 15 (Korea Bizwire) — A reenactment of the Battle of Incheon took place on Wolmido Island, on the last day of the ceremony celebrating the 65th anniversary of the victory (September 12 to 15).
Navy officials promised to present an event to remember, and delivered by showing various attractions.
With veterans of the war present, Korean and American soldiers acted out the operation that took place 65 years ago.
Hovercrafts from the Korean Navy steamed into the coastal waters off Wolmido Island.
Black Eagles, the Korean Air Force’s acrobatic team, embroidered the sky with various colors, while the Naval Special Warfare Flotilla decorated the sky with long trails of colorful smoke.
