Figure Skating Queen Shares Hope for PyeongChang Olympics

SEOUL, Feb 10 (Korea Bizwire)Figure skating queen Kim Yuna expressed her wish for the successful hosting of the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games by marking the “three years to go” milestone with an event titled “One Day in Pyeongchang” held at the Alpensia Ski Jumping Center on February 9.

As an honorary Games Ambassador, she expressed her wishes for a successful event. In 2011, when Pyeongchang was bidding for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games, Kim impressed IOC members with her final presentation, and played a major role in Pyeongchang’s successful bid.

Pyeongchang will host the Olympic Winter Games from February 9 to 25, 2018. Over 80 countries and 6,000 athletes are expected to take part in the first Olympic Winter Games to be held in Asia in 20 years.
