DAEJEON, April 1 (Korea Bizwire) — The Korea Forest Service (KFS) plans to host a special event, titled the ‘Very Special Tree Delivery Man,’ as part of the 2020 My Tree Ownership Campaign ahead of Korea’s Arbor Day.
The program invites citizens to order a My Own Tree Kit and plant a tree at home as they practice social distancing to prevent further spread of the coronavirus.
The My Own Tree Kit will be delivered to 450 lot winners. It includes a green box, a red pine seed, a pot, a trowel, watering can, and culture soil.
The event will begin on Wednesday and continue for the next 15 days on the KFS YouTube channel and other social media platforms.
Anyone can participate by posting a photo or video of planting a tree. All photos submitted will be compiled into a YouTube video.
